New Balance have officially launched one of the best looking colorway packs of the year. The all new Black/Gold Tekela v4 and Furon v7 feature a Black base with Gold branding to give a premium feel to the latest update to the NB boots. As a huge fan of black boots, adding a touch of Gold is cherry on top of the cake. New Balance have made waves into the football/soccer market ever since the brand took over duties from Warrior. Having tested the original Visaro, it is nice to see how it has evolved into the current control boot option in the form of the Tekela.

FURON V7
-Hypoknit upper designed to provide strategic areas of stretch and support
-Nylon outsole designed specifically for firm ground use
-Off-set lacing with cored-out canopy to increase strike zone and provide lockdown
-Hypoknit mesh collar for a lightweight and breathable feel
-3D tongue tab for added grip
TEKELA V4
–Full-foot stretch-knit upper with minimal texture and weight to bring you closer to the ball.
-Laceless closure for secure lockdown and stability
-3D knit collar for grip and ease of entry
-Seam-free off-set instep zone for lockdown and reduced pressure
-Lightweight nylon outsole with organic spike texture in the midfoot, designed for use on firm ground
-Multi-directional conical stud configuration
-TPU angled rim studs at the forefoot provide support for lightning-fast turns
-Directional heel lining for added lockdown
We are hoping to bring in the Tekela v4 and Furon v7 for review sometime in the future, but for now, we are happy to share how regal this new pack is.
What are your thoughts on the new release for NB? I personally cannot stress enough how much I love this colorway. If more boots would give a blackout boot a bit of Gold flavoring, I would certainly not be upset.
